The name says it all. Adding the SpeeDee Oil Change name tells your time starved customers that you can quickly and conveniently provide oil change and fluid services.

Adding SpeeDee Services

Improving the way you perform the oil change and fluid services in your shop can help you increase the number of new customers you can take care of each day and can give you a chance to earn all of their other automotive service business as well.

It can all start with a simple oil change, but it doesn’t have to stop there. Increasing your car counts and growing you customer base can lead to more repeat business. Your existing customers will also like the fast and convenient way that you can now handle their oil change and fluid needs. By offering the SpeeDee services and your traditional Midas services, you give your customers more reasons to keep coming back.

Converting your Midas Shop to a Co-Brand

There are several phases of work to be completed to co-brand your existing Midas shop, including changing the exterior and interior image, installing new oil change equipment and tools, increasing filter inventory and better organizing it, and training you and your staff on SpeeDee service procedures.

It will take approximately 120 days to complete the co-branding process if you diligently follow the plan. There are certain events that must be coordinated such as the painting of the building prior to the installation of the signage and the installation of the lifts and overhead oil equipment. The co-brand development team will work with you to develop a plan and a specific timeline specific to your shop.

Depending upon the equipment you choose to purchase and the amount of signage you are permitted, the total incremental investment for a Midas SpeeDee co-brand will vary. Once you decide that you may be interested in co-branding, a development team member will complete an on-site survey of your shop and generate a detailed scope of work for your review.

Once you have approved the plan you, your staff and the development team will work together to execute the plan and finalize the shop set up. The week of opening you and your staff will attend SpeeDee training. While specifically designed for you, your manager, and lube staff, it is critical that your entire staff becomes familiar with the SpeeDee process and operations standards. Service technicians must also understand the reasons you are co-branding your shop. The goal is to increase car count and customer satisfaction and the entire team has to be on board.
